This post talks about all the concerts I’ve been to.
Concerts, primarily rock, have been a part of my life since I was a teen. I remember well, getting an invite to go to a concert when I was just a sophomore in high school. I was second chair trombone in concert band and first chair in the marching band, only because the first chair was also the drum major. So I got play his part because of it. His name was Keith and one day at the end of a concert band practice, Keith asked me if I wanted to go to the Hendrix concert with him. Keith was a senior, so he had a driver’s license! Hendrix was my absolute favorite rock guitarist. Purple Haze had come just a year earlier, and it was may very favorite Hendrix tune, so I jumped at the chance. Even better, my parents went along with Keith driving us to Berkeley, to the Berkeley Community Theater. Needless to say it was incredible to see JImi at such a small venue and we were only 10 rows back. I was blown away!
It will take several tries to get these right, when I have this filled in there will be more than 100 concerts.
